St Davids has been voted as one of Britain's best coastal walks!

The Times has voted St Davids to be on the best places to walk along Britain's beautiful coastline.

There are some amazing walks on our Activities Page and you can start many of them from our cottages!

A wonderful view of Carn Llidi and the two lifeboat stations from Ramsey Sound

The last few weeks have been amazing weather in St Davids and yesterday we went across to Ramsey Island and had this lovely view of Carn Llidi and the old and new lifeboat stations... looking across from the Bitches.

A view of South Bishop Lighthouse

Yesterday we went to the west side of Ramsey Island and took this photo of South Bishop Lighthouse, which was built in 1839 by James Walker. It has been unmanned since 1983 and is monitored and controlled by Trinity House.

We just loved the kingsize bed!

Our favourite oyster catchers

We love oysters catchers and you will often see a pair just outside Porth Clais harbour, on the left... or a whole flock nearer to the entrance to Ramsey Sound.

Golf in St Davids

St Davids has a spectacular golf course, with wonderful views over Carn Llidi and across Whitesand Bay towards Ramsey Island and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. This is a must, especially the fourth!

St Davids 19th Century barometer

Every morning Malcolm Gray, MBE, former lifeboat coxswain, reads the barometer, just at the top of Goat Street... a  minute from our cottages. This mercury barometer is inscribed with 'RNLB No 104 Institution. James Glaisger FRS.'
