Oxeye daisies and the Cathedral Clock Tower

Here is a photo we took last week showing the Cathedral Clock Tower through some oxeye daisies growing in Ty Gwilym Holiday Cottages gardens.Our gardens are full of lavender, oxeye daisies, geraniums and foxgloves.

A new Beauty and Spa Centre comes to St Davids

A wonderful new Beauty and Spa has opened at No 42 Goat Street, about half way down on the right... and a 'stone's throw' from our cottages.

They provide a wide variety of treatments, including beauty, aromatherapy, facials, massage and complimentary therapies.

Candlelit Festival Gala Dinner in the Nave

On the last night of the Cathedral Music Festival, we enjoyed a lovely evening of dinner and music by Vox Angelica and the Choral Scholars in the Nave.

This is an amazing setting for an event and we were treated to the Marriage of Figaro, The Teddy Bear's Picnic and more!

The magical Druidstone Hotel and St Brides Bay

The Druidstone Hotel is a hidden gem, with wonderful views across St Bride's Bay and lovely beach walks. The hotel is just over twenty minutes drive from our cottages in St Davids and it's easy to walk down to the beach and then back for drinks and lunch and relaxing in their walled garden.

We have just spent a week in St Davids and been hearing on the news about snow in every part of the country, but not here in St Davids.
