Visiting St Davids Cathedral, St Davids
St Davids Cathedral, the magnificent 12 century Norman Monastery, is just minutes walk from our cottages and has regular services concert and plays. It's unique atmosphere is an important part of what draws people back to St Davids year after year.
The Wonderful Beaches in Pembrokeshire
Whitesand Bay is great for picnics and walking the long stretches of golden sands... as well as for surfing, sandcastles, sunsets and photography. There are also wonderful beaches at Newgale, Caerfai Bay and Abereiddi…close to the famous blue Lagoon.
Walking the Coastal Path
The coastal path draws so many of our visitors to St Davids to walk the amazing coastline, which is, literally, five minutes away at St Cons Chapel.
Visiting the Islands
There are regular boat trips to Ramsey Island, Grassholm and Skomer. These can be arranged in St Davids. They provide a unique and incredible opportunity to see seals, dolphins, manx shearwaters and more in an extraordinary natural environment.
Adventure Activities
Coasteering, surfing and kayaking are just some of the activities available near St Davids. They can be provided by TYF in St Davids and The Real Adventure Company... based just outside.
Golf overlooking Whitesand Bay, near St Davids
St Davids had a really spectacular nine hole golf course, on the road to Whitesand Bay, with amazing views over the beach especially on the 4th and 5th tees.
Toursit Information Centre
St Davids Tourist Information Centre was opened in 2008 and has a gallery, information centre and café… and displays a variety of treasures from the Museum of Wales… really worth a visit.
Shops and Inspiration in and around St Davids
There are so many lovely shops to visit in St Davids, with gifts, paintings, clothes and more. One of our favourites is Basalt and Dune, which opened in 2020 and is located in Maes Dyfed, just off New Street, selling gifts and homewares.
'The PINES' - a lovely new gallery in St Davids
The 'PINES' Gallery opened on March 1st 2024 at 1, High Street (the old TYF shop) and sells a wide variety of pictures, cards, pottery and homeware.
