The Mill House Cafe and Restaurant in St Davids is just a few minutes walk from Ty Gwilym Holiday Cottages and is situated at 9, New Street, just 100 yards past TYF on the left. It serves coffees and lunches, but in 2024, they decided to make a great change and open a restaurant at weekends.... on Fridays and Saturdays. This has proved really popular and been a huge success. Now they're contemplating opening on more days in the week. So do make a visit to The Mill Cafe and enjoy the whole experience, especially in the evening!
The Shed, located in Porthgain, Pembrokeshire, is a relaxed and informal Fish and Chip bistro, serving amazingly fresh fish in a wonderful harbour environment.
Fish is caught by the owner or sourced locally, from day boats and served within hours!
Porthgain is a small coastal hamlet on the north coast of the St Davids Peninsula. It used to be a small commercial harbour and sourced stone from a nearby quarry, that was loaded onto small trains and then dumped into 'bins' before being loaded onto boats.
The harbour has also been used as a filmset and is a perfect location for a short break, just six miles from the cathedral city of St Davids, where we have four lovely holiday cottages, sleeping two to six people.
