New fire regulations were introduced in October 2023 and we are currently in the middle of carrying out all work required to ensure that we're compliant.
The regulations cover risk assessment, prevention and protection and there are actions that both the landlord and visitors need to take to minimise risk.
Keeping customers safe is a very high priority and so we have carried out a fire risk assessment and prepared an improvement action plan.
This plan includes reviewing our electrical system, upgrading our smoke alarms, installing better escape lighting and providing general advice on prevention and how to keep safe in the event that a fire occurs.
We will shortly be publishing advice to customers on this page and in our cottages.
