The Sloop is a lovely pub situated in the picturesque harbour of Porthgain.

It dates back to the 18th century and underwent extensive renovation in 1997; however, the main bar maintains all the history of the original building.

Porthgain is just 6 miles from St Davids and used to be a thriving industrial port with extensive slate, stone and brick works... creating a very unique atmosphere, especially in the early evening.

Now, there are just a few fishing boats in the harbour, which can be launched from the slipway.

The Sloop has an extensive menu to suit all tastes and welcomes children and families.
