The Grub Kitchen is the U.K.'s first, full-time edible insect Café and Restaurant. The main ethos of the Kitchen is serving locally sourced, sustainable food, which is freshly cooked and 'full-flavoured'.

Most of the dishes are plant based and the kitchen also caters really well for children.

The Kitchen was founded, and is run by award-winning chef, Andy Holcroft,  who has received many amazing reviews and awards since opening in 2015. Visitors come from all over the UK and the signature dish is 'Gourmet Bug Burger'.... delicious!

The Kitchen sits alongside the Bug Farm, which has a wide variety of insects to see close at hand... a wonderful experience for children and adults alike.

The Bug Farm is an innovative and unique Research and Visitor Centre, as well as a Farm and a Nature Reserve.

The Farm has a wide variety of experiences, including a Bughouse, an insect farming exhibition, as well as wildlife trails and the wall garden

There are a number of outdoor picnic benches, where you can bring your own picnic, but space is limited, so it's important to get there early!
