St Davids Kitchen 01437 720009

St Davids Kitchen located in Nunn Street opened in August 2016 and is already receiving great reviews. It serves breakfast, lunch and supper and here is a link to their FaceBook page.

Cwtch 01437 720491

We have been to Cwtch a number of times and the new owners, Jackie and John Hatton-Bell, who started in April 2014, are continuing the great traditions of this excellent local restaurant, started by Rachael Knott in 2005. It has welsh slate and wooden floors, chalk board menus and serves uncomplicated food from quality ingredients. Do book as they are always busy, especially at weekends.

The Grub Kitchen  07986 698 169

The Grub Kitchen is based at the award winning visitor attraction, academic centre and Bug Farm. The Kitchen serves fresh fish and conservation grade, as well as edible insects dishes….all very delicious. We have been there and it’s fantastic.

The Sound Cafe 01437 721717

The Sound Cafe started in 2012 and provides excellent tasty food at affordable prices. They are open for breakfast and lunch….. and dinner during the peak season.

Gianni’s Ice Cream 01437 721778

Gianni makes wonderful ice cream and is in the very centre of St Davids. This is a must for any visit!

The Refectory 01437 721760

The Refectory is part of St Davids Cathedral and serves delicious home made food and a lovely roast on Sundays!

The Farmers Arms 01437 721666

The Farmer’s Arms is literally a ‘stone’s throw’ from our cottages and serves food through the summer months.

The Bishops Pub 01437 720422

The Bishop’s is in the very centre of St Davids, serves great food and has a good outside area overlooking the Cathedral Bell Tower.

Pebbles Coffee Shop 01437 720122

This coffee shop is one of our favourite places for a mid-morning espresso and serves delicious freshly prepared lunches.

The Sampler 01437 720757

Outside St Davids there are also many excellent places to eat:

The Shed, Porthgain 01348 831518

The Shed is the best fish restaurant in the area and all their fish is locally sourced….always fresh and delicious.

The restaurant has views of the harbour at the renowned village of Porthgain, just six miles north of St Davids.

The Sloop Inn, Porthgain 01348 831449

The Sloop is just next to The Shed and welcomes families throughout the year. The building dates back to the 18th century and they have an extensive bar menu, which changes regularly alongside a specials list, including fresh fish.

The Cambrian is run by the chef, Matt, who used to be at Cwtch in St Davids. They service great pub food, with fish specials, which are always delicious.
